Work & Travel - info şi plângeri
Actualmente, MAEIE implementează un proiect de informare a studenţilor moldoveni despre particularităţile programului Summer Work and Travel - www.mfa.gov.md/swt unde pot fi găsite informaţii despre acest program.
De asemenea, s-a elaborat un mecanism de depunere a plângerilor din partea studenţilor moldoveni împotriva abuzurilor angajatorilor americani (detalii pot fi găsite la adresa menţionată).

To all those people with Internship intentions to work the 2nd job in the USA. Your intent is great, but don’t forget, the more you get payed the more Uncle Sam wants from you ( you gonna pay taxes, unless you paid undertable). Secondly, we gt to take care of those Illegal Mexicanos and when they go to hospital, they got no health insurance and they will get treated again they will get your money, because Uncle Sam will treat the Illegals with taxes you pay, so, if you dum enough to get a 2nd job, do so.

Imi amintesti de cazul unei persoane in Canada. Daca nu lucrezi statul iti da $700 (canadieni) pe luna, ajutor material. Iar daca lucrezi, e evident ca nu-ti da nimic si inca si vei plati impozit pe venit. Pai persoana a exclamat - “Mai bine nu lucrez! De ce sa pierd acesti $700 lunar?”.
E o logica interesanta. Ca daca ar fi lucrat, ar fi facut, sa zicem, vre-o $2000 lunar si chiar platind impozite s-ar fi ales cu vre-o $1500 lunar.
Da, pierzi ajutorul material, da mai platesti si impozite. Insa net castigi si te alegi cu mai mult. Asa si cu al doilea job - da, platesti taxe, insa te alegi in final cu mai mult. Are sens sa te concentrzi la taxe, sau poate la rezultatul final?

Daca vrei sa locuiesti chiar in New York - atunci preturile vor fi cam duble (sau cuadruple in Manhattan) la cele mentionate. Multi insa locuiesc prin aporpiere in New Jersey sau Connecticut si vin la serviciu in New York (cca 4 mln de oameni)
